Our community work
We’re committed to supporting our members and colleagues' communities.
Our support focuses on financial hardship, employability, and education. We support the financial wellbeing of those in need through partnerships with Citizens Advice and FareShare, our Money Minds programme to teach adults and kids about money and our colleague volunteer scheme.

The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation supports charities across the UK.
Volunteering
Time can be as much help as money to charities. We give our colleagues up to 31 hours of paid leave each year to help their community. This includes:
Financial education for kids, young people, and adults.
Support for charities addressing financial hardship.
Serving as trustees of charities.
Pro-bono support.
Acting as school governors.
