If the customer applies for an Offset savings account

We will use their personal information for the purpose of opening and administering the account, contacting the intermediary or customer where necessary, fraud prevention and detection, legal and regulatory compliance, marketing and market research and general business purposes.
We will disclose details of the Offset Savings Account to the account provider Yorkshire Building Society and to all borrowers and guarantors (if any) of an Offset Mortgage Account linked to the Offset Savings Account. Disclosures will be limited to information necessary to manage the mortgage and savings accounts. This may include savings account balance, significant withdrawals, account closure, notification that total savings exceed the mortgage balance, or that total savings insufficient to support the payment due and a request to de-link the offset savings account.
We may contact a licensed credit reference agency to confirm the applicants identity.
