09 May - BTL rate reductions and important changes to when we instruct a valuation - 10 May

Accord is delighted to announce reductions to rates for certain higher-fee products from 9am on Friday 10 May.

All products are available for both house purchase and remortgage up to 75% LTV:

  • 2 year fixed rates at 3.39% with free valuation and £250 cashback with a £1995 fee
  • 3 year fixed rates at 3.49% with free valuation and £250 cashback with a £1995 fee
  • 5 year fixed rates at 3.89% with free valuation and £250 cashback with a £1995 fee

We've a great range of tracker rates including 2 year products at 3.59% with £500 cashback and a £1,495 fee.

Accord residential products are not affected.

 

Important changes to when we instruct a valuation

We'll now instruct the valuation once the required fees have been paid and our underwriters have conducted their initial assessment - unless you instruct us otherwise.

We believe this change will help speed up our application to offer turnaround timescales and in doing so, improve our service to you and your clients.

15 April - Accord BTL – product end dates extended to 31 May - 16 April

As from 9am on Tuesday 16 April, Accord is extending end dates on its BTL products to 31 May.

Some products in the current BTL range already have end dates of 31 May and therefore the product codes on these will not change. All other products will be given new product codes.

We're delighted to announce new additions to our BTL fixed rate product range from 9am on Tuesday 12 March 2013. We've also reduced selected 5-year fixed rates by 0.30%

We’re pleased to announce the addition of four new products to our Buy to Let product range from Tuesday 26 February at 9am.

Products are available for up to 75% LTV

  • 3.39% - 2 year fixed rates (house purchase and remortgage products)
  • 3.99% - 5 year fixed rates (house purchase and remortgage products)
  • Product fees: Booking £195, Completion 1.75%
  • Incentives: £250 cashback and paid standard valuation.

There are no BTL products being withdrawn and no changes to the current BTL product range.

Residential products are not affected.

07 February - New BTL products and rate reductions!

Accord is launching a range of new BTL products at 9am on Thursday7 February. There'll be new 2, 3 and 5 year fixed rate products at 75% LTV with a range of fee options to suit your clients. There are also rate reductions on selected products.
Changes to the range include:
  • Reduced rates on selected £1,995 fee products by 0.10%
  • Increased rates on selected 5 year fixed rates by 0.20%
  • All product end dates to 31 March

Most products will be withdrawn and replaced on Thursday 7 February at 9am. This is with the exception of product codes: 100241, 100244, 150046, 150045, 150049 and 150048, which will remain on sale.

23 November - Great News! Accord BTL products are getting even better! -  26 November

Rates on selected 3 and 5 year fixed rates are reducing and products previously only available up to 70% LTV are now available up to 75%.

We will withdraw all products with exception of products with a £1800 completion fee (100237, 100238, 100239, 100240).

All products will be replaced at 75% LTV on Monday 26 November at 9 am.

  • 2 year fixed rates from 3.69%
  • 3 year fixed rates from 3.99%
  • 5 year fixed rates from 4.39%
  • 2 year trackers from 3.49%

This product change does not affect our Residential products.

12 July - BTL Product Launch, completion fees reduced on all fixed rates - Monday 16 July, 9pm

We are pleased to announce that on Monday 16 July we will launch a new range of Buy to Let products.

Further details:

  • Additional 2 year 65% LTV fixed rate products
  • Reduced completion fees for all our fixed rate products – down to £800 or for percentage fees, 0.50%
  • Product end dates for the new range will be 30th September.
  • A 75% LTV 2 year fixed rate previously removed from the range has been added back in.
  • 3 year fixed rates withdrawn and not replaced.
  • Products with legal fee assistance and free valuation are being withdrawn and not replaced.
  • All products that are being replaced will have unchanged rates.

To use the current range of products, please make sure you apply by midnight on Sunday 15 July

The new products will be available at 9am on the morning of Monday 16 July.

23 January - Buy to Let improvements from Accord

We’re delighted to announce that we are extending our geographical reach for Buy to Let to cover England and Wales from 23 January. We have also reviewed our BTL criteria.

Changes to Accord Mortgages Buy to Let criteria include:

  • The minimum property value will reduce from £150k to £100k
  • The minimum applicant age will reduce from 30 to 25
  • A new approach to the borrower distance from property criteria
  • Broker-certified copies of documentation will now be accepted instead of original documents being required
  • The minimum income for an applicant will reduce from £35k to £20k

20 December 2011 - Accord BTL Christmas Opening Hours

During the Christmas period we will be closed for business on the following days:

  • Saturday 24 December 2011
  • Monday 26 December 2011
  • Tuesday 27 December 2011
  • Monday 2 January 2012

We will be closing at the slightly earlier time of 4pm on Friday 23 December.

We will be open for business as normal on Wednesday 28 December, Thursday 29 December, Friday 30 December and Saturday 31st December.

Normal service and working hours will resume on Tuesday 3 January 2012.

15 December 2011 - Accord BTL Fixed Rate Reductions - Friday 16 December

Due to a recent reduction in funding costs, Accord Mortgages is pleased to be able to pass these reductions onto our customers by reducing fixed rates on our BTL range.

Accord will be withdrawing its current BTL product range on Thursday 15 December at midnight and replacing this with a new BTL range on Friday 16 December at 9am.


Summary Changes:

  • 2 year fixed rates reduced by 0.25%
  • 3 year fixed rates reduced by 0.20%
  • 5 year fixed rates reduced by 0.15%

The following products remain unchanged:

  • Trackers unchanged

Important information about Booking Fees:

  • Any booking fee is payable as part of the full mortgage application process and is non-refundable.
  • The full mortgage application should not be started unless you receive an 'Accept' Lending Decision. Please await the outcome of referrals as the booking fee is not refunded in the event of a decline.
  • In the event of a product withdrawal, a full mortgage application must be completed (ONLY if an 'Accept' Lending Decision has already been received) and the booking fee paid to reserve the product before midnight on the date of withdrawal.

07 December 2011 - Accord BTL Product Launch & Withdrawal - 08 December

Further to increases in funding costs, Accord Mortgages Buy to Let 2 & 3 year fixed rates will be increasing. Whilst other rates remain unchanged, all products will be withdrawn and replaced as end dates will be extended to 31 January.

Accord will be withdrawing its current BTL product range on Wednesday 7 December at midnight and replacing this with a new BTL range on Thursday 8 December at 9am.

 

Summary Changes:

  • 2 and 3 year fixed rate products  increased by 0.40%
  • End dates on all products extended to 31 January  

 

The following products remain unchanged:

  • 5 Year Fixed
  • 2 Year Tracker

Important information about Booking Fees:

  • Any booking fee is payable as part of the full mortgage application process and is non-refundable.
  • The full mortgage application should not be started unless you receive an 'Accept' Lending Decision. Please await the outcome of referrals as the booking fee is not refunded in the event of a decline.
  • In the event of a product withdrawal, a full mortgage application must be completed (ONLY if an 'Accept' Lending Decision has already been received) and the booking fee paid to reserve the product before midnight on the date of withdrawal.
